Materials & Technology

The upper is made from 100% recycled nylon, and the lining uses 100% recycled polyester, approved by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). The cushioned sole is made with 20% algae-based Bloom Rise™ and 80% EVA rubber.

BLOOM™ has innovatively taken algae destined for landfill or incineration and transformed it into useful materials for products. This helps to lower reliance on virgin materials, reduce carbon intensity, and restore aquatic habitats by clearing away algae.

However another friend also purchased the same boots and we are both having the same problem with the right boot, there is a squeaking sound coming from the right boot if you walk for any distance in them? Can you help with this as over all I am very impressed with the product. It sounds like it is coming from the heal area ir the shank in the boot is rubbing?"

I sized up and glad I did as I wear quite thick warm socks. I don’t use them for hikes as you don’t have a massive amount of support but they are great for gentle walks in the field and garden or around the village in snow and wet weather."
