How do I clean the car seat covers?

From time to time, you might want to spruce up your Dryrobe® Car Seat Cover. Check out our wash care guidance below to keep your Dryrobe® Car Seat Cover looking its best when cleaning.

Never expose your Dryrobe® Car Seat Cover to any heat source of any kind.
To help extend the life of your Dryrobe® Car Seat Cover, we recommend washing by hand if at all possible.
Alternatively, wash your Dryrobe® Car Seat Cover (ideally in a Guppyfriend Washing Bag) using a non-bio washing powder or liquid.
A gentle or delicate machine wash at maximum 30°C/86°F.
After the spin cycle hang, or lay flat as it dries at room temperature.

"Unfortunately this was a disappointing purchase that had to be returned due to them not fitting my van seats, I have a Mercedes Sprinter and would say these covers are best for smaller vans. Although I had to return them I would like to say the covers where of good quality and soft and I would of loved to be able to keep them. Hopefully Dryrobe may consider making larger ones to fit larger vans."

Does the job well- fit could be better

"Mostly happy; Easy to put on and take off. Full wrap-around coverage of the seat front and back. The only slight issue being that as it’s a universal fit, the front seat of my new mini is concave/bucket shaped so as the material isn’t shaped that way and has no stretch, it doesn’t sit flush to the seat shape so it is taught from the sides, which is a bit annoying- other than that it does the job really well and protect my seat from my wet muddy dogs."

Should have bought this ages ago!

"Why or why didn't I buy one of these sooner?! I'm a dog walker and am just delighted with this Dry Robe seat cover. It fits really well, does what it says and looks good too! One tiny criticism - no care instructions included - what temperature etc to wash at? But I'm definitely getting another one!"

Very comfortable, but slack fit

"Good product, but found it impossible to get cover to fit tightly to seat, meaning that it slips a bit under braking or enthusiastic cornering. Instructions for fitting are rather vague, and it would be useful to show where the straps under the seat are supposed to fit - below the forward/backward adjuster or not?"

Almost but not quite

"Awkward to fit, the seatbelt are mounted on the seat and there is no allowance for this. Had to slit and hem the sides to get a proper fit. Longevity will tell, they are a bit saggy but they are a universal one size fits all item so a perfect fit would be had to achieve and unreasonable to expect. Had drivers side for over a year and it has flattened a bit, purchased the passenger side a few months ago and not had as much use obviously."

"Unfortunately didnt fit my seat in car. My seat has bolsters so think that was the issue. Otherwise the material etc was great, was really disappointed as I would have loved to have made it an addition in my car. I do have a dry robe which i find amazing especially in winter for walking my dog in the rain"

. save your money

"We were very excited to get some dryrobe seat converts for our motorhome. Our excitement did not last long… The material has gone very flat and bobbly, everything seems to stick the covers and it’s hard to revive! They do not wash up well and we feel they have been a real disappointment! I cannot recommend these at all, it looks like they have been used daily for years and that is hardly the case. If you are looking for motorhome seat covers do yourself a favour and don’t purchase these."

"We ordered two seat covers. We are delighted with the cover that arrived in perfect condition. We are, and continue to be, disappointed that the cover which was received in damaged condition has not yet been replaced, despite sending photos of the damage and returning the damaged cover to Dryrobe. In the meantime, I have been deluged with adverts for other Dryrobe products. I look forward to receiving a replacement cover, better late than never!"
