We’re proud to announce that we’re renewing our relationship with Conor Hancock as a brand ambassador. One of the brightest talents in UK Obstacle Course Racing, Conor is no stranger to the podium at races both here in the UK and across the world. Part of an incredible pool of talent within the dryrobe team - we’re looking forward to supporting Conor through 2018 as he set out to take on an awesome schedule of top quality events.
Conor’s been a regular fixture in the UK Obstacle Racing community over the last few years and is one of the most consistent racers out there - his mix of strength and speed makes him one of the most complete competitors out there. The last few years have seen him win the title of UK OCR Champion, claim a third place finish at the OCR World Championships as well as being part of 2 x OCR World Team Champions! All of this has been achieved at the age of only 25 - it’s fair to say that Conor is only going from strength to strength and we can’t wait to see where his racing takes him.
Already off to a flying start in this year’s OCR season with wins at both Tough Mudder and the inaugural Nuclear Surge event, Conor has a packed calendar ahead. One of the highlights of the year is sure to be the OCR World Championships, which are heading to the UK for the first time ever, with dryrobe as an official partner of the event for 2018.
Conor commented: “I’ve competed in the World Champs every year and finished top 10 each time - with 2016 being a 3rd place finish. So to have the world champs in the UK this year has really got me buzzed up!
It’s hard to say how a race will go especially when all the best OCR athletes in the world are lined up and raring to take the top spots. But it’s on home turf with even more of the UK supporters behind us cheering away, so as always I’ll be there and ready to give 100% and see what I can do!”
We’re excited to be working with Conor for another year and helping him to achieve his goals - he’s without a doubt one of the top talents in Obstacle Course Racing right now and we can’t wait to see where this year takes him.
