Materials & Technology

Built with cutting-edge fabrics, the Dryrobe® Waterproof Poncho is designed to protect you in wet and windy weather, whilst being portable enough to take anywhere. The main body fabric is crafted from 100% recycled polyester, GRS and OEKO-TEX® certified, and finished with a PFC-free water-repellent coating.

The unique 3L fabric design consists of a waterproof-breathable membrane sandwiched between an outer face fabric and an inner lining, providing 3 layers that are laminated to produce wet weather protection that is durable, comfortable, and reliable.

Finished with PFC-free BIONIC-FINISH ECO Durable Water-Repellent (DWR). This technology repels water, causing it to bead on the surface, meaning it rolls off rather than soaking into the fabric.

The Dryrobe® waterproof poncho is also breathable, allowing sweat and moisture to escape from the body and out from the garment without compromising its waterproof qualities.

Stay dry and be seen

"Love the color, the high vis aspects and so far so good it had helped to stay dry. The pocket is great too and for easy transport it comes with a pouch we can clip on to the backpack. Very convenient to also cover not host the person but also the backpack. Sounds expensive but I think it is worth the money."

Excellent quality.

"Perfect for spring to autumn wear as you can layer under it. We were in wales and as usual the rain was torrential but I was completely dry underneath. Great product."

A pensioner writes…. .

"Rain poncho was a considered purchase, it’s not a budget garment, but it works very well - I really didn’t want buy yet another set of rain proof jacket and trousers, as I find them hot, uncomfortable, and actually not that effective in keeping you dry. The Poncho actually does keep you dry in heavy rain - we were going to an area of the world that has very heavy rain - even more than North Devon - and the poncho more than coped - it’s capacious enough to cover a backpack as well as you (the backpack is where you will be carrying the poncho until needed, as while it does fold up, it still has some volume - it’s not a handbag size) although, when worn with said backpack you will end up looking like a tortoise with housing issues - but I am too old to care! Crucially, for me, I didn’t feel too hot - or sweaty - while wearing it, particularly important if you are walking - I really like the freedom and ventilation of the open sleeve (I use Nordic walking poles so very handy for this). The hood is nicely adjustable. We are going on a cycling holiday later in the year, so it may get some more action then. Pictures show both me and my husband styling it out - I am 5ft 2, so it really does cover everything. I would buy again if I ever needed to, but am really hoping it’s going to last! I chose green as I didn’t like the camo design, and while I still ‘don’t care’ perhaps the yellow was a bit bold."

Shines bright :)

"Fit is fantastic. Enough space for the backpack. Nice material with a soft touch. No chance to test it yet to see if it is really waterproof but looking forward to it :) The small bag is a good extra."

Robuste, gute Qualität. Nicht zu

"Robuste, gute Qualität. Nicht zu groß, wie bei vielen Regenponchos, sondern gerade richtig."

Wasserdichter Poncho

"Der Poncho entspricht voll meinen Erwartungen. Freue mich schon, in bei entsprechendem Regenwetter auszuprobieren."

Stylish & keeps you dry!

"I opted for the poncho, as confused with purchasing a coat for the cold weather. I am 5”3 and size 18. The length is great, plenty of room to layer up. Design & cameo blue superb. Worn on a recent very wet day when patient transport collected me for a hospital appointment (post operation). Hood kept me dry. I bought a Dryrobe hat, not needed to use it. Would recommend. When I’m mobile, great to wear on days out or dog walking."
